Hello friends
I am a manufacturing man spent nearly 20 yrs in industry...
seen many Quality Management Systems and TPM and Lean..
Myself is TPM coordiantor and implemented in many plants...
But my basic question is that whether these improvements are sustainable ? I invite readers to share their idea /thinking/suggestions in this topic...

Dear Sir,
My experience with Quality Systems is very little but I have been very facinated about it since begining. And have been working in mfg units since begining.
I have attended a few training programs, read some articles and more importantly spoken to seniors in technical side of manufacturing units.
I have faced 8 audits on Quality Systems also (ISO, API, Clients).
The concept of continuous improvement as the backbone of all the QMS is very appreciable but not practical beyond a limit.

We can see improvement in few industrial setups only. Especally influenced by other developed countries.
Basic productivity is going down.
Less Thinkers, more high paid workers.
That is why few richers are creating more poorers.
