The matter of leaves differ from Company to Company. However, these are as under:
1) CL 8 days
2) SL 7 days
3) Pl 21 days
Casual Leave can be taken @ 2 per quarter and the CL for 2nd quarter becomes due only after completion of Ist quarter.

Dear Member,
Welcome to CiteHR.
The procedure for grant of sick leave and casual leave in a year or month shall depend upon the applicability of the Act such as State Shops & Establishment Act, State Industrial Establishment ( National & Festival and Casual & Sick Leaves Leaves)Act etc. & therefore first see which of the act is applicable in your case & then go through that act to know the answer of your query.

Please confirm under whoch law your Company is registered:
a. The Factories Act, or
b. The Shops & Establishements Act
Then you look up the law as applicable to the state in which your Co. is located and then look up the relevant sections in the said sate law and you will find the answer.
Best Wishes,

Are you telling me or are you asking me? Talking about ESI at this juncture is rather out of place. We are talking about Leave in this tread. Vasant Nair
