Sir, applicability or non-applicability of ESI Act, 1948 and rules/regulations thereunder is a very vast subject and hence, it is difficult to submit complete details in few lines. If you desire, you can download necessary literature including ESI Act, 1948 and rules/regulations framed thereunder from the websites of ESIC. I hope, you will find the detailed reply from said literature. However, if after going through the said Act and rules/regulations etc., still you have any doubts, then you can submit in this thread by indicating your specific doubt, if any, and facts of a particular case for comments/views of seniors and experts.
