hi............
This is common sense that if both are working in same organization then both will interact to all department because without proper communication we can not smoothly run the org. But the point is that your wife must follow only officially task and communication to all departments .She should not make more attachment to anybody besides you.

Some good responses from mahr, nareshg and kkmishra.

One of the most childish and foolish response already noticed.

To loose or terminate any one is not a solution.

As resulted from all over, Husband needs further fair and chicky counseling.

Means counsel by the way, doesn't put directly or individually.

Being some male employee gossips and comments badly, one of this husband feels bad and get narrow minded. More focus is required to the people gossips and the person of wife's department who must have some bad intentions towards that lady.

There are many types of presentations and films trainings by which you can run a programme in your organisation, where u appreciate and award the people who r best in manner infornt of opposite sex....or award to the best working pair... and also side by side make some common comments and announce atrocious to the gossips and abusing type of activity...like don’t name your organisation people who gossips, use some news around your company or location where some guilty or any case regarding same has been done... and make the notice board….that such shameful activity has been done...in so & so company in today's such a modern culture.

Also please make emotional touch in those training session that from such bad activities (like gossips and narrow mind) any one of the family get disturbed. The bad life may be start to such family’s child.

Means try to create an environment for all where everybody tries to proof there self for a excellent husband / wife, and not involve there self into bad gossips.

All d best.

Hi!!
I think the best way is to act professional, Take the lady employee into confidence & issue a memo to her (since you say that her non interaction with the colleagues will hamper work in due course), let her show the Memo to her Husband & explain her problem. She can explain him that her professional reputation & career can be at stake. I am sure they can solve their problems internally in a much effective manner.
If the husband is professional, he will stop intervening in her professional life & give her freedom at work which would be good for both the lady herself & the organization, if he is unprofessional he might ask her to resign, this also will be good for the organization in future as you would curtail creating an unhealthy enviornment in her department. Let them internally take decisions on their respective future.

Ask the lady whether his husband has a problem with any particular male employee or with all her colleagues.
If her husband has problem with any particular male employee then she need to stop interacting,
and
If problem with all the colleagues then she advised to change the job.
One of the reason may be her husband has not much to do thats why he has started to behave like this. So best way is to give him some more task to do,.

This only can occurred when one has more time to think this type of silly things. Depute the husband more workload so that he would not get time to think that kind of things.
By the way no husband & wife's problem can be shorted out by anyone but by themselves.

Dear Sarkar,
Thanks for your reply.
Well, the husband was saying that her colleagues were speaking really bad.
They had a bet on some colour of the undergarment wore by her & one of the
colleaegue lost the bet.The person who lost the bet was giving the party.
He told these things to her wife, but still she is speaking to those colleagues
in a very friendly way.
So,in this case what can be done?

i think you should talk to both of them. Running away from situation, leaving the job or filing a divorce case will not be solution to any problem. May be her husband does not want her to talk to a particular guy. Check, if you can transfer either of them to another branch or office.

Hey hi Kamal, Company demands Work. Relationship demands Trust. Everythings starts from heart & mind.

Female employee has no need to do anything but to show the maturity and make the husband realize mutually that we are working for the company as normally non couple male & female works. And should show him the importance as to why both are working, and understand the basic need instead of fighting on rubbish things.

Every problem has more than one possible solutions, one point is that the both husband and wife had already spent a reasonable time with each other therefore they must understand the feeling and emotions of each other and might be this problem is due to only single person, the person which is not liked by her husband. When an husband watch that his wife is taking frankly with someone else which is not liked by him, then obviously this thing will hurt him.
Ultimately solution is that the husband must clear about the particular person or wife analyze on her own behalf that to whom my husband does not like, no matter even the third person is so nice. Divorce is not solution. It enters the life in more problems
