Hii,
If you are weak then, in my opinion the better way is to consult some good English speaking course so that you can learn to know grammar words. You will also learn how, where and which words to use to make it a proper presentable sentences. And better part in speaking part they might give you some motivation. But try to communicate as much as in English and try to avoid hesitation and take your time while you speak so that you can think and frame the correct sentences. Moreover at end of the day "practice makes you perfect" :)

Dear (Raj),
Better ways to learn English in fluent manner –
1) Read English newspapers and novels regularly
2) Try to speak in English with everyone. Don’t hesitate. Let them laugh. You loose nothing..
3) Try drafting everything on your own. Search for words to replace some words in your drafts
4) Whenever you are free, try to attend some personality development demos / classes..
5) Spoken English classes doesn’t make much difference… But can try..
6) Participate in the discussions in good forums like citehr..
Good luck…..

Hi

First of all it might be some consolation for you to know that you are not the only one facing the problem of coping with the challenges of grammar. However the fact is that you really have a serious problem which is troubling you.

There are some good suggestions given above by those who posted replies before me. To that let me add the following.

- Try to find a mentor who is good in English. You can show him/ her your drafts and request for corrections. You must make an effort to understand why the changes are made by the mentor.
- If you have the time and inclination and can locate a good tutor / faculty it will be very beneficial to go for some English language skills coaching.
- You must change your mindset to think in English rather than think in your native language and then mentally translate it while speaking or writing. You must make every effort therefore to speak in English and ask people to correct you because only then will you be aware of the mistakes you are making and you can then correct yourself.
- Read extensively. One national newspaper, one national weekly and the Readers Digest are recommended. Pay attention to new words and make an attempt to use some of the new words in your communication.
- The real tough part is being conscious of the rules of grammar and applying it diligently. Over time you will automatically follow the rules unconsciously. The key is to read, write, think and breathe English no matter what the response / feedback from the onlookers or receivers of your communication.
- Finally believe in you ability to overcome your fear of communicating well in English.

The following Inspirational and Motivational Blogs would also help you in your quest to improve your English language skills.
