A Note Sheet has been forwarded to Finance deptt. to verify the estimation of the contractor worker regarding reimbursement of gratuity and encashment of EL based on wages sheet of last working month as submitted by the agency. Now, Finance deptt. asked to certify the wages sheet of the contractor.

As a Principal employer, is it appropriate to certify the wages sheet of the agency? Is there any legal complication?
