• Understanding responsibility

• How to do lawn work such as mowing, gardening, weeding, raking, trimming bushes and trees.
• How to take care of the house structure and appliances such as painting, washing siding & windows, replacing furnace filters, routine maintenance on appliances.
• How to do laundry and iron.
• How to make memories including keeping track of family birthdays, holidays, and special occasions, being thoughtful on those days.

• That they will realize character is very important.

Hi Ishmeet ,
In my opinion ,you teach them how to write the alphabets properly and stress on good handwriting .Our handwriting speaks volumes about ourselves to others the way we are .
Good handwriting ( and correct alphabet formation ) inculcates basic values like honesty , compassion , persistence ,courage , responsibility etc. The handwriting is a very good tool for child development .
I am sure, your school would be proud of them.Please go through the attached ppt on " importance of handwriting for child development ".
