Hi All,
it's been quite a long break for me away from the citehr communications.
i am back to work and hoping to have a continued and beneficial mutual exchanges on HR related details.
would like to share and get some information on PAYSLIP!
purpose of payslip: basic reference doc for information and transparency on the monthly financials between employee and the employer.
query: is it a must that payslips provide leave details. does this serve the purpose. is it a must it should provide no. of working days?

Yes it is a must that no.of working days should be provided and some companies also do provide the leave details in the slip. Its there in our company it done like that.
Generally the slip should be having the following information
1. Name & Date of Joining of the Employee
2. Employee Code (If any)
3. Month for which the salary is done.
4. Total no.of days in a month & No.of days worked by the employee.
5. Date of salary done.
6. Designation
7. Basic, HRA, CCA, Food Allowance etc in the gross part and in deductions it shud be PF, PT, ESI, Itax, Sodexho etc.
8. You can even add the leave details also.
