Dear Sir,
SALARY CALCULATION WITH SUNDAY OFF AND LEAVES
WITH REFERENCE TO THE ABOVE SUBJECT IN OUR ORGANISATION SALARY CALCULATING DIVIDE BY 26 LIKE 15000/- PM SALARY BUT CALCULATING 26 DAY LIKE 15000/26= 576.92 PER DAY SO THAT SALARY GETTING SHORT IF I AM ON LEAVE FOR 2 DAYS AND CALCULATE SALARY = 576.92*24 DAY = 13846
BUT MAY SALARY IS 500/- PER DAY 15000/30 = 500 SO THAT THE SALARY SHGOULD BE 500*28 DAY = 14000 BECAUSE SUNDAY IS OFF DAY THEY ALSO COUNT IN MY SALARY
KINDLY CLARIFY THIS MATTER SO THAT I CAN EXPLAIN THIS ISSUE

If salary is being calculated on 26 days basis then in any case Sunday will not be considered if there are minimum 04 days working before starting of your leave.

The law that currently stands, based on court judgement, provisions of gratuity act and minimum wage notifications of the states, the daily rate computed is on basis of 26 day month. Therefore the wages of weekly offs get absorbed in the daily rates.
The impact of this is that the rate of deduction for leave without pay is also higher
But that is a part of the requirement of law so whether you lost a few thousand is immaterial here. Better not to have leave without pay anyway
