Hi all,
How the HR or payroll depatment divide the salary.
Can any one let me know the salary breakup for 3,50,000per anum.
1.How the basic ,HRA ,Da and other allowance will be caluculated
2.what percentage of the CTC or Gross the basic will be divided.

Dear Swetha
it is depend on ur company policies regarding salry.
Normally CTC include Employer Pf Contribution,Gratuity,Bonus,Incentives,Mobile allownc, etc. so u have to saparate gross salary.
Normally some companies giving 50% of basic on gross

There are no any rules abt the payroll. Everything is based on company policies. Only thing the criteria is that it has to be designed in the way that for IT should be reduced for our employees.
Based on that we can give breakup of different components on the salary breakup

for exp:
Take gross salry as 10,000/-
Basic & DA (60% on gross) =6000/-
HRA (40% on Basic & DA) =2400/-
Conveyance (Fixed) = 800/-
Spl Allw(12% on Basic & DA)= 720/-
Othr Allwnc (Balance amt) = 80/-
Total Gross =10,000/-
U can change the breakups as per ur convenient like :City allownce,Medical allownce,Education Allownce,Incentives etc
