Hi Annie,
The percentage of basic, HRA, TA, and miscellaneous in a salary breakup can vary depending on the company's policies and the employee's level and position. Typically, the basic salary constitutes around 40-50% of the total salary, HRA around 40-50%, TA around 5-10%, and miscellaneous around 5-10%. However, these percentages can vary and it's best to check with your employer for the specific breakdown of your salary.
Thanks

Legally there is no such percentages and there is no such break up based on percentage. Ideally, there should be two important components, like Basic salary and the Variable Dearness allowance. It should match with the statutory wages fixed by the government. If you do not want a DA to be part of your salary, then the sum total of Basic and VDA shall be put under the head Basic salary and you can put any amount as HRA, Conveyance or other allowance.
