hi dear , your skill matrix is good but when you have given the colour coding then you should not write the IL NO , because this si not a proper way either colour coding or no colour only indication.

Yes Neha, you are right. We should first identify the competencies required to a particular job and then map individual’s skills on those parameters.

Like in your example; for tool or mould designer we can take the competencies like designing skills, knowledge of software – PRO –E or Catia etc. Then we have to define a scale on which we can map their current skills and actual skills required to do the job. We can fill this gap by providing them appropriate trainings.
