It is a fashion to claim that I am sitting late in my office and on Holidays too not only at the cost of family time but also at the expense of company/govt.If there is a strict rule that no one should sit extra time there will be huge savings on Energy bills.

Well, It happens to be the initial practice of every fresh joinee, (consequentially fresh from college) having no other immediate committments back home, on the course of impressing/satisfying the employer despite his/her own personal values & health.
Self realisations are late in some cases (including mine). But better late than never..
