Hi Hameetha,
Nowadays these kind of issues pop up often. Before trying to take any steps on this I want you to try to analyse the following.
Software Engineers are "Knowledge Workers". Any S/W engineer will always look for a good career growth, exposure to the latest technology and ofcourse good pay package. Check in your company whether all the things mentioned are present.
Apart from Salary what are the benefits you give to the employees? Try to revise your approach towards the employee. Try to list down the reasons why anyone should work with you. For ex: Cleare career plan for all the employees, Positive Work Culture, unbiased approach of the Management, and etc.
Employees should be made aware that "Money shouldnt be the only thing which makes them comited to a company". The solution to this problem is getting Employees Engaged. Coz, Engaged employees wil be loyal. Attaching few doc for your reference.
Feel free to ask any more clarifications.
Regards,
