Hi Monika joshi,
There won't be any sacking and firing policy. If it is a Factory then your certified standing orders / Model standing orders. As per the terms and conditions of your appointment letter
The sacking and Hiring shall be on two counts - indicipline & non performance
Indicipline - on indiscipline part you have to issue charge sheet organize enquiry and if proved then you can terminate / punish
Non - performance: Give the targets / monitor / communicate / issue performance improvement plan / evaluate on monthly basis / evaluate and still not meeting the expectations / ask for resignation / if not ready / terminate.
on all the terminations / sacking / firing you should be very careful - most of the times when employee approaches labour department or proceeds legally it back fires and you need to reinstate him with back wages which shall be a suicidal effect to the organization.

Hi Monica
Sacking / Firing Policy!!! LOL....
Why would you have a policy for firing / sacking unless you are really wanting to do it on a regular basis... Dont even get into it. Every organization has a code of conduct and performance expectations. Your policy should mention that failure to follow the code of conduct or meet performance expectations could result in Termination of employment.
Your Sacking / firing policy must form a part of a broader "Termination of Employment" clause / policy.
Also please understand what kamesh has rightly mentioned. Policy are formed by the HR / management but they must be Vetted by your legal expert. ALL policies are Legal rules that can be challenged in the court of law.
Cheers

Dear Monika
You need to fallow principal of natural justice to any employee before you terminate you need to have proper documentation or else employee will file a case against the employer.
Kindly let me know which industry you are working with and why you want to Terminate them ??
