Dear Seniors,
We are planning to open 1 branch in Bangalore, which comes under Karnataka shop establishment also Professional Tax applicable there.
I want to know about entire Professional tax from starting(registration) till end.
if salary is more than 15000k then 200 is applicable.
My question: is 200 deduction from employee side only or is there any amount which has to be given by employer side also.
Can we show 200 part of CTC Breakups?
Process for registration
Regards,
Kunal Kumar

Hi Kunal, Rs.200 is deducted only from Employee side. You can show this amount as a breakup in the CTC. Regards, Indhu

Dear Kunal,
There is no contribution from employer side. which is the deduction for paying to the local authority against income earned by the individual in that place.
Also need not to show in the employees CTC as per the indhu statement.
Regards,
Ashok.

Hi, Kunal, There is no any deduction from Employer side. PT has to be deducted from employee only & paid to local authority as per their applicability. With Regards, Vijay Vaidya
