Hi vignesh,
You asked about the investment options whether to invest in shares or mutula funds. Mutual fund is nothing but investing in group of shares from different industries and managed by efficient fund managers or portfolio managers. And also in shares the risk is more and return also more. You have to study a lot to analyze the company before investing into it. But in mutual fund your fund will not be only into shares some part of it will be preserved to fixed income securities. So, low risk and moderate income. Now a days market is good and your fund will be doubled within three years. If you invest in Fixed deposit, post office savings it will take 6 to 10 years to double your money. You can go for some LIC insurance options like money plus, profit plus, etc., good earnings.

Hii.
SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) is all the way better option than Lumpsum Investment, because when market is down u will get more units. Also one can start SIP with Rs. 1000 p.m.
In case of Open-ended funds, Entry Load is Nil & Exit load is 1-2%, if u switch or redeem within a year & after 1 year is Nil.
