Hi!

Thansk for your inputs.. Nice analogy to bring out Building Teams and its relevance in corporate world. Some important points which I thought would also pave way for understanding success and more important learning from failures :

Leadership - Cool and calculated decisions by Dhoni made difference between winning and losing. Compare these with the blunder Sachin committed by exposing inexperienced blower in front of Gayle, without realising Gayle's strength and being in-form. Sachin is gr8 player but at times such decision making leads to team's downfall..

Team v/s bunch of great individuals - CSK & MIs..

Understanding opponents Strengths & Weakness - Decisions based on the analysis.

Adopt strategy based on situation and not on emotions - sending Bhajji ahead of Pollard in Semi final match just because Bhajji hit 6 in previous match??

Each postion has a important role to play and stationing players at key fielding positions - assignment of roles & responsibilities.

Clarity of the expectations with the players

Dhoni's promoting himself to no.3 slot in final match - Taking ownership and leadign by example.

Self Belief and ambition to WIN.

Being what MANU is for fotball league - Settign high goals and taking team together to believe and act.

Dreaming & Doing to achieve things. Both dreaming & doign go hand in hand if one needs to accomplish the targets.

AIM HIGH and strive to achieve the goals set with perseverance.

Success is journey. Remember Set backs & Obstacles will be there on the journey. Learn to face them head on.
