The Central Government enacted the Act. The Act can only be enforcible after the State Governments framed the rules for the implementation. The state Govt as we'll the Central have not yet finished the work of framing required rules for implementation of the Labour Code.

As rightly pointed earlier, you may have to wait. Centre will not implement, till next Lok Sabha election.

Though all the Labour Codes passed, almost all states made rules, still consensus not arrived between stakeholders. As such hesitation exist and not came out with final notification of date for implementation.

There's lot of good things there for the working community in labour code. It too have an ugly side, for small and marginal entrepreneurs. I should rather say, the delay is better for new labour code because the present political scenario is not favourable. In our country, it is a custom to oppose anything new brought by the ruling party. The reasons for protest are vague. They will oppose because are in oppositions. In my opinion, working class of people should not suffer in "Post covid Yera",. The day law will come into force the political monkey dance will start. The ever silent TU wakeup from the hibernation.
Many may question to my apprehensions but it is in reality.
