We sponsor H1B visa every year. But this time the rejection rate is high & also we are getting 221g's. What steps can we take to avoid this. And how is US market going to be this time. Is there any slow down. Because there most of the candidates don't seem interested in H1B visa.

The issue you raised is very normal for the H1 visas in this stage. As per my knowledge i know that the US consulate provides with a fixed number of H1's to the different countries. If you apply the candidate earlier and he gets the date sooner its an advantage, but the long the interview time takes the more the rejections will happen.
Try to get perfect candidates i.e. genuine candidates with good technical skills and genuine experiences. This year i.e. for 2008 i am also sourcing few of the candidates for the H1's,so you may be a help for me.
