Resigned Employee - Approval need for Bank Account change in EPF??

I have resigned my job way back in February, 2015. My EPF account is properly updated online with UAN, Aadhar seeded, bank account details etc. If I change my bank account and update online in UAN portal, will that need my ex-Employer approval (resigned and not working for five years now).

Yes, It is required the Previous employer to approve.
