I understand that you have joined an organisation and you need to transfer the fund from the old organisation to the current one. You had joined the previous employment in 2012, ie, before the amendment took place to Pension scheme in September 2014. The previous employer had not contributed to your Pension fund at the rate of 8.33% of your salary (subject to a maximum of Rs 15000) but instead should have contributed 12% to your PF account only.
This is an omission by the previous organisation. You have to involve your previous employer and do a reconciliation of accounts. The employer has to work a statement of salary, contribution to EPF and Pension and submit it to the EPFO. Visit the EPFO Office and meet the Accounts Officer and take further guidance.
