Hi, Appointment letter have a clause of Notice period. Both party have to serve notice period or pay amount if they want to end there contract. Suppose employee salary is Basic 4000/-, HRA-2000/-, conveyance -1000/- and other Allowances-3000/- total-10,000/-. Notice period-1 month. Emp. want to give notice pay in place of notice period. Than what amount he will pay as notice period. Is it only Basic or Basic+ hr or Total salary.

dear there is no law as such.it is you to make policy on this ,basically it is give and take if you remove some one how much you will pay at the same movement when some one goes and want to pay notice pay you deduct accordingly. tks j s malik
