Culture: Mind the Gap!

In a general sense, culture is pretty much your identity. This identity is strongly influenced by factors such as religious background, influential people involved in upbringing, place, age and external social environment among a variety of other factors. In a similar way, a company culture is pretty much it’s identity or in some cases lack of it.

Culture is a function of time. It evolves. In a company, either the leadership puts in conscious efforts to create it or it takes its own course. Leadership today, is well aware of pitfalls and benefits of creating a company culture. Having said that, most of them struggle to create a culture that they want.

Keeping this in mind, we bring to you a tool that will help you assess the gap between a culture that you would ideally like to have and what it currently is. We have used our proprietary PPP © or People Practice Performance model to create a list of generic statements that we feel most leaders wish to have as their culture.
