Hi Shilpa,
Wonderful Idea to post this nice topic. I have waited over the years ever since I saw India defeat Pakistan in the final in 1985 Australia Cup which was sort of an World cup to celebrate 100 years of MCC.
This was truly Amazing. Kudos to the team. What a Victory.
On the lighter side of it.....
Misbah when he played the shot thought he was sending the ball to no mans land. He forgot the most important point.........
There is a Malayalee.... in every corner of the world :D :D :D :D :D
No hard feelings anyone.

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and inputs to the most relevant topic of the period... India is Twenty20 World Champion. From nowhere we have reached this far. It's a great achievement.

I don't know whether you all read or not, I have been marking this phenomenon from the beginning, in fact from the time, Australia lost to Zimbabwe. And from then on the Bowl out. I think the Indian team played a cool and mature cricket throughout and did not get carried away by superstition and belief.

Rightly Dhoni said, I live in the present. And he was shifting the gears according to the terrain. Biking is a very important passion, and many of you who ride a motorbike knows it better, how you see the world in a different perspective than when you see it while driving a car or a bus. And he just utilised his biking management skills on the field effectively.

Only one thing that makes me sad is the way the team members are flooded with financial and material gifts after this win. My suggestion is that these Cricketers should lead by example to give at least a part of it to the development of other sports in their region.

This victory also shows that the arrival of sports personalities from the village or country side to the national and international level in abundance than the highly privileged and politically powerful metro persons.

An awareness can be generated and effected only by those who are out there in India. Those who work outside have not much a role other than support any initiatives or suggest some.

Sincere thanks once again and best wishes to all those active participants of this truly constructive forum. I wish to see it grow from more strength to strength in terms of membership and Quality Article created by its members. This is a great venue for Creative Management and HR Skills.

God Bless,

T20 w'cup, wonderful result of consistent & spectacular performance of our Indian Team, starting from 1st match against pakistan(specially ball out, we can find the seriousness to win), other match against England good partnership batting and grate innings from y'raj and fielding of blues. In other match against South Africa good bowling performance and against world champions a brilliant performance of whole team.
Finally against Pakistan, Mr. Dhoni's lead in 100% utilisation of team members skills.
Morale of the whole story are-
"do it at your best & fullest you can, results will defiantly come on your way"
" Success is not easy thing until you put your first step on its way"
"Enjoy the journey of life instead of thinking about it"

Hi! Shilpa,

you have given a very good thought to the match.

I have observed

The best of Discision making in pressures here it was seen when Dhoni gave the last over to joginder even though his performance in the previous matches was not so very attractive and enfluencive.

Team Spirit is observed well.

It could only be possible when the team have the best faith in the leader. here in this case it's Dhoni.

Very Good motivation and risk taking skill of the leader.

Last but not the least A hope to win till the last moment... This was the team which could never accept to be defeated and hence they could win.

CheErS to them to bring home the amazing victory and pride:!: :!: :!:
