I am fascinated with the idea of blogging and couldn't stop myself from creating a blog on motivation.
It's a very new blog on motivational quotes, thoughtful stories and contemporary thoughts.
Please go through it and provide your feedback to make it more enriched and valuable.
You can also share new ideas and contents that can be posted here.
If you are a HR professional/Inspirational Speaker or Thinker or aspire to become the one with a passion to motivate people around you to follow their dreams and passions, this could be the best place where we all can contribute our thoughts.
Together we can do it. We can help others to smile.

Hi. I always believe by narrating stories we can engage the participants on motivation.
The following anecdote may be useful for this. through you view on this.
The Intelligent servant:
When he was staying at an air base in Africa, author Saint-Exupéry passed the hat among his friends because a Moroccan servant wanted to return to his home town. He managed to collect a thousand francs.
One of the pilots flew the servant as far as Casablanca and told the following when he came back:
– As soon as he arrived he went to have dinner in the very best restaurant, handed out generous tips, paid for drinks all round and bought dolls for the children in his village. This man hadn’t the slightest notion of economy.
– Quite the opposite – answered Saint-Exupéry.
“He knew that the best investment in the world is people. Spending in that way, he managed to win all over again the respect of his countrymen, and they will offer him a job. After all, only a winner can be so generous.”

Reading the blog on motivation I chanced upon a short article which is reproduced below:
There was a farmer who sold a pound of butter to the baker. One day the baker decided to weigh the butter to see if he was getting a pound and he found that he was not. This angered him and he took the farmer to court. The judge asked the farmer if he was using any measure. The farmer replied, amour Honor, I am primitive. I don't have a proper measure, but I do have a scale." The judge asked, "Then how do you weigh the butter?" The farmer replied "Your Honor, long before the baker started buying butter from me, I have been buying a pound loaf of bread from him. Every day when the baker brings the bread, I put it on the scale and give him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, it is the baker."
What is the moral of the story? We get back in life what we give to others. Whenever you take an action, ask yourself this question: Am I giving fair value for the wages or money I hope to make? Honesty and dishonesty become a habit. Some people practice dishonesty and can lie with a straight face. Others lie so much that they don't even know what the truth is anymore. But who are they deceiving? Themselves
My view;
One should show integrity in life.
Do not try shortcuts and jugaad as a matter of course.
In our corporate word we find employees absconding without a thought and then struggling for a good job.
We find corporates cutting corners and saving money by being nasty with employee during FNF process.
Be competitive,be customer oriented and people friendly for doing well in business.
Your employees are your real assets.Motivate them to do their best.

Hi Amar,
Gone thro' ur blog but due to some technical difficulty was not getting the images. The effort is appreciable.
I suggest you to add motivators (self)at workplace for an employee.
1. Add few quizzes involving sports, personality, market, world, politics, GK, etc.,So they may open your blog to get themselves refreshed.
2. Add games of SUDOKO,puzzles,etc.,
3. Add few creative handwork procedure to make use of wastes at office that might keep them boosted
4. Suggest the idea of gifting that will give immense pleasure.
Hope my suggestions will be though not a branch but a leaf out of the book!!!
Regards,
Imran

OLD UMBRELLA MENDER
One day, an old umbrella-mender was working on a broken and torn umbrella. He seemed to take unusual pains testing the cloth, carefully measuring and strongly sewing the covers.
An old woman who was looking at his involvement remarked, “You are unusually careful”.
“Yes,” the man said without looking up, “I try to do good work”.
But the woman said, “Your customers will not know the difference until you are gone. Perhaps
you expect to come back this way again someday”.
“No, I shall probably not come back,” he said.
“Then why are you so particular?” said the woman
He said, “So that it will be easier for the person who follows me. If I put shoddy cloth or do bad work, my customers will find it out in a few weeks and the next old umbrella- mender will get a cold shoulder”.
Moral of the story: in our all walks of life, we do leave a distinct trail when we move forward and the more favorable trail we leave behind, that better for the person who follows us at a later point of time. When a person who mends simple umbrellas can be so meticulous, why not we, especially those of us at the front end of the Business?

A good idea. I hope someone here will be able to motivate me not to order an essay in the essay writing service, but to write it myself.
