Even I have a boss who is very bad, so, I posted the feedback on this new portal and after a while, my company also got to see some feedback and helped improve our situations, in order to save their image too. You can post the feedback about your boss anonymously on Jobiness India.

This is really strange that being in HR you are not comfortable with female bosses...all i can say is that this is your poor luck that you are not able to handle them. Veena

As all the experienced have commented earlier, I would also agree with their views. You cannot generalize based on your experiences. I have also had a few female bosses in my career and 2 of them were really difficult to work with. But that is life, we have to find ways to deal with and move on. I don't think it is anything personal. You just have to find what makes them tick and what works for your environment and situation and adapt accordingly. Just be careful not to get personal (like comments or sharing) as you may do with a male boss (bonding). If you are professional in your behaviour, work and related matters, you should be able to tide over it easily.
All the best.

Ok sir,
Really a difficult situation for you to work with such bosses, but what I suggest it all due to communication gap between gents and ladies. Generally What happens ladies can express their views very much clearly but for gents it becomes slightly different sometimes they are not able to clarify themselves clearly in front of ladies due to which they express themselves in such a negative manner.

Hello Miss.

I have read about your post and all the comments regarding the aforementioned post. If permitted, I would like to share my two-pence worth of thought on this matter too.

Actually I have worked with both male and female bosses. Currently, my HOD happens to be a female and our HR Team is an all female orientated team. The fact is in our company the females working together tend to bond better and have great understanding, same as the Operation Team which is all male. Maybe it falls back mostly on the perceptive of each individual in our organization including our MD that we are working towards a common goal.

Nevertheless, I have had my fair share of encounter with male and female bosses that are just plain clueless about their job functions and communications, wasting time utilizing the company resources and misusing their positions to their personal advantages. Therefore rather that having a bleak outlook and blaming gender as the cause of one persons' attitudes and behavior in life, it should be noted that the root cause is usually the organization and the top hats. If managers and their subs have been drilled on what is expected of them to reach the ultimate vision, then employees will never act out as irresponsible individuals.

Thank you for sharing this post here.

Best of Luck!

Best of Regards,

Tines
