The HR Manager of my organisation send us mail of different issues in different colours of the text. Now the question is whether it is the protocol or mail etiquette or her own making style.

Dear Kousor,
In business mails, the preferred colour of the font is black. Sometimes blue font is also used. However, black is preferred over blue.
The challenge of the colour of the font that you are facing is because of non-availability of "Protocol of Communication". You should create communication guide on how to communicate, be it on phone or through e-mail or in the meeting. Standardisation of communication brings everybody on equal footing.
By the way, I conduct training programme on "Business Writing Skills" or "E-mail Etiquettes". If you wish to train your staffs then you may avail of my services.
Thanks,

Hi
i m also agree with Dinesh..the font should be Black only. If anything is important we can highlight the text or can make it italic only.
writing mail in different colors is the writer's own style. May be they want to impress their staff.
