Please can anybody give me the following information?
For an employee working in Delhi:
1) if the CTC is 683379 INR/year, which is more or less the Net Salary?
2) if the Net Salary is 650103 INR/y, which is more or less the CTC?

CTC means Cost to Company - which in return means all that cmpany is spending on you right from your Net salary till ur Mediclaim, etc etc. All and every single penny is counted in this
Gross is what you are entitled for BEFORE statutory Deductions
Net is what you get CASH IN HAND after deductions
usually the basic dedcutions in gross is
a) Pf - employer and employee
b) Professional Tax
c) IT / TDS
after the above 3 dedcutions from Gross what comes in Hand is NET
so CTC = Gross + NET.
hope that clarifies

Hi Shweta!
The question is:
- if for an employer the CTC for a specific employee is 683379 INR/year, which is the Net Salary left for that employee?
on the other hand:
- if that employee gets a Net Salary of 650103 INR/year, which is the CTC for the employer?
Thank you for helping me!!

Dear Allitta,
We cant tell the specific net salary from the figure of CTC. It depends upon the company that in how many contents they want to split their CTC and in what percentage.
For example: The CTC is devided in components like Basic, HRA, Conveyance All etc....
The percentage of all these components varies according to company and other statuitory deductions like PF, ESIC, are made.
So we can not figure out the exact net salary from CTC figure exactly.
And the same thing is applicable vice versa.
I hope this clears your doubt if not please feel free to ask any question.
Thanks & Regards
