Dear Seniors & Readers
What is the value / benefit / requirement of cover letter along with the CV for a job application? When recruiters are scanning through the CVs, they quickly glance over other relevant details in the CV, rather than read through mundane, stereotyped, parroted cover letters.

Of course you should have your cover. Having a good cover letter will help you a lot in landing an interview and even a job. A cover letter is where you state your interests about the company and the job posted. A cover letter sample will be your guide to create an impressive cover letter. A lot of people are already seeking for it every time they are going to apply for a job. Though, the cover letter sample does not need to be followed exactly. You can also remove or add things that you feel are important.

Covering letters hardly make any difference these days. We have to realize most of the resumes are viewed through electronic medium. Further, given the amount of resumes that one receives and stiff targets recruiters are required to meet hardly anybody gives attention to covering letters.
Exception cases could be when companies solicit resumes only as hard copy.
