Hi There!
I had worked for a company for three months and my PF deduction per month was Rs.992. The company asked me and one of my colleague to resign after 3 months for no reason( it was some internal politics going on for which we juniors have to pay by losing our jobs). Though they gave us clearance certificate and one month's salary for the notice period but we are not able to withdraw our PF yet, it has been 9 months now that me and my colleague have left the organisation. The company people did not give us the PF number inspite of we asking them for it again and again. Its not even mentioned on our salary slips.
Now can anyone please suggest me how to recover my PF amount and PF number from the company? I think according to the laws the company is liable to pay interest on my PF too. Please suggest me how to go about it.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi

It is must that you should have/know your PF number either for transfer or for withdrawal

We don't wether they have remitted the PF amount deducted from you by alloting the pf number.

Better you apply for, transfer the amount through your present employer by submtting form 13A after getting the pf number from your previous employer.

Thanks & regards

Dear Neelanjan,
The Situation u mentioned is very tricky actually. The kind of situation u mentioned Employer will never let u know ur PF number and possibly it has not been submitted with the authorities.
U need to make some extra effort for this. Just try to findout Company's PF code no and contact the PF authorities at their Regional/or Zonal Office. They Have Almost Everything Computerised now A days. By This Way u Will Atleast be Clear Whether They Have Deposited the amount or Not. If Yes You can Easily Get it Transferred to Ur New Account By the Help of HR in New Company.
If Not There is No other option than to request the Older Company to Reimburse the amount.
Hope Ur Querry is Cleared.

Rahul Sethi
