DA and HRA can incorporated in salary strusture
HRA will be 40% of Basic.
DA("Dearness Allowance"Some company useing "Duty Allowance" both are treated differently)
If it is "Dearness Allowance" then as per Goverment % on Basic,
If it is "Duty Allowance" then base on No. of days employee present in a month it may me Rs.100 for a month differ from org to org.

Hi Akumman,
There is no such legislation for salary break up but one has to follow the upper limit caps for HRA, conveyance and Medical reimbursment .
Eg- HRA - As per IT law one can opt in only upto 40% of basic salary in case of non metro cities and 50% in case of metro.
Secondly there is a limit of Rs. 800 pm for conveyance and Rs. 1250 for Medical Reimbursements. Rest components depend upon the management gammut of decisions and as per company policy standards and norms and as per industry.
Thanks
