while withdrawing PF is it mandatory to enclose crossed Cheque ? previously i enclosed Bank A/c front page only and got setteled. But present employer is asking crossed Cheque. Please clarify.

The cheque qill have details like IFSC code,MICR code all of which are to be fed in correctly to ensure prompt payment.Just hand over a cancelled cheque.
