Presiding Officer of Internal Committees to File Annual Report for Year 2018 per Section 21 of SHWW (P, P & R) Act 2013

Every Presiding Officer of Internal Committees in India is law-bound to file before the District Officer an Annual Report for the Calendar Year 2018. This mandatory Annual Report must be filed under her signature under Section 21, with a copy thereof forwarded by her to her Employer/Head of Institution. This Annual Report is to be filed by 31 Jan 2019. The Employer, upon receipt of the Annual Report Copy, is duty-bound to incorporate the same in the Annual Report of the Companies under Section 22, and the Heads of Institutions of other Establishments shall file their reports before the Local Committee/DO. The format/headings for the Annual Report are as prescribed in Rule 14 of the Rules framed under the said Act and gazetted on 9.12.2013.

The Internal Committee is constituted under Section 4 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act 2013 and is an independent legal entity. We provide guidance and assistance in the preparation and filing of Annual Reports under reference.
