I am not a graduate, but I am providing an edited mark sheet of my friend and my company's BGV. They found that my mark sheet did not match during verification. Now, they are requesting a color copy of the mark sheet. I am confused about whether to provide the color mark sheet or not. Also, I am unsure if they are currently conducting a BGV. If I provide a color copy and it is found to be fake, what actions will be taken against me? I have already completed 2 months in the company. What should I do?

There is an old saying, "He who lies, lies to hide it and makes it two." Thus, once a person lies, lies continue into a chain of lies, and when some verification starts, the person gets worried.

Please state your words with truth; otherwise, after giving the colored mark sheet, you may face a criminal trial. I hope you will learn a lesson. Go to the concerned person and submit your resignation, stating that you had mistakenly submitted incorrect documents to the office.
