Jagannath The ESI Act covers all employees whose gross salary is Rs.150000/- or less p.m. So you need to cover only those of them under ESI. B.Saikumar Mumbai

A little amendment — " the Gross Salary should be "15000" or less rather than "150000". I think It’s a keyboard err that you’ve mentioned one extra zero... PS. Best Regards, Sunny.

The ESI Act becomes applicable to a factory from the time it starts manufacturing, and the employer shall register it within 15 days of it becoming applicable as per Regulation 10B of the ESI Regulations 1950.
