Hi,

Can you please specify what exactly you are looking for? Each company would have its own induction plan tailored to the type of industry. Basically, induction means the act or an instance of inducting, a ceremony or formal act by which a person is inducted into office or military service, presenting material such as facts or evidence, and a formal entry into an organization or position or office. For example, "his initiation into the club" or "he was ordered to report for induction into the army."

So, while the induction process is generally the same, there will be variations in different organizations.

Hi,

The Induction Program is basically about facilitating a smooth entry for an employee into the organization, transitioning an outsider to an insider. We typically follow a 3-step induction process:

1) Briefing the candidate about the company, conducted by HR:
- Introduction to company history, mission statement, and vision.
- Organizational culture.
- Basic employment policies.

2) Introduction of the employee to the department head:
- The department head explains job functions, key tasks, reporting levels.
- Introduction to all colleagues and relevant individuals in the department.

3) Follow-up with the employee:
After one month, a follow-up is conducted with the employee to assess their understanding of the company's employment policies and job responsibilities.

In a previous discussion on this forum, one of our colleagues shared an induction orientation checklist document. I am attaching it for your reference. I hope this information is helpful.
