As you are aware, the office arrival time is 10 AM. However, the organization allows a 15-minute relaxation up to three times a month. Any subsequent instance will be marked as a half-day leave.

Understanding the 15-Minute Grace Period

What does HR mean by allowing a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals? Will the arrival time be considered as 10:15 AM, or will it still be marked as 10 AM?

Rajib Baral,

The official arrival time will remain 10 AM until the management decides otherwise. The organization allows a 15-minute relaxation up to three times a month to facilitate employees. The 15-minute late arrival will be considered as 10:15 AM, not 10 AM, but full-day attendance will be counted for these three occasions only.
