Hello Guys,

Could someone please help me with this? It's urgent.

Can we issue a permanent ID card to a Business Development Consultant (he is not listed in the employee database or payroll)? If we want to issue an ID card on behalf of my company, how can I issue the ID card? My company is a small-scale company with an annual turnover of around 20CR. It is not a software company; it is entirely into system integrated services (installation of fire alarms, CCTV, fire hydrant systems). So, the Business Development consultant's work is to bring business and clients; he takes a percentage after receiving a work order from clients. Finally, he is not an employee of the company, but he brings business to the company.

Thanks & Regards,
Dinesh J

The ID card of the company could mention the consultant as an outsourced employee, whether he is self-employed or part of an outsourced agency, and then specify their name. The ID card is to be issued upon a written request being made. Providing a business card will not classify such individuals as company employees.
