Is It Legal for My Company to Demand Resignation Without Notice During Lockdown? What Can We Do?

I am an employee of a private firm and working in a senior position. My company asked me and my team members to resign amid lockdown and not even giving a 1-month notice. Is this legal? What step can we take to challenge this?
