I left my previous company only one month ago. The reason I left was the distance. It was the same reason I told them, and I have a good reputation in my behavior as well as my work. They offered me some benefits when I left, but I politely rejected them and moved on.

I joined another company that is a little closer to my home. However, in my new company, I was disappointed by the way the manager treated me, and I did not like the atmosphere or workflow. It was then that I realized how happy, free, and effective I was as an employee at my previous employer.

In this situation, what should I do? Could rejoining be the best option?

There is no need to feel shy or inferior. Please check with your ex-employer about your interest in joining them back. Hi Kowsalya, it's true there is nothing wrong with rejoining your previous company, especially if you felt really good there and they are ready to take you back. However, the reason you mentioned for leaving was the distance. Wouldn't this be a problem again?

It would be beneficial to check if you can find a solution to the distance factor because if this is not addressed before you rejoin, there is a chance that after the initial excitement, you may feel like leaving again. It may not be possible to rejoin after having exited twice.
