I joined a company where I worked for about one month. Due to personal reasons, I resigned from my duties and sent an email to my manager. I left the organization the next day. This happened two months ago, but my manager is now harassing me personally about taking legal action against me. He is threatening me, saying that even if I join a new company, he will send notices to them as well. In reality, I didn't sign or receive any document (offer letter/appointment letter), and I had not even completed the probation period. What should I do to resolve this matter smoothly?
Thanks.

The primary issue is that your exit from the company was not handled properly, as you left just by sending an email to them. This is not right, regardless of any personal reasons you may have had at that time. Although you did not sign any offer letter or appointment letter, you acknowledge that you worked there for one month, signed the attendance register, and emailed them your resignation letter, all of which serve as proof that you were part of that company. Now that you have left abruptly, they may take disciplinary action such as issuing warning or termination letters based on your email. They may even inform your future employer (if they find out where you have joined) about your improper departure.
However, without an offer letter or proper appointment order, there may not be much legal validity. You do not need to worry about their calls. Just make sure they do not misrepresent your exit as "absconding with company property/valuables" (for which they should also provide evidence).
Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks. I have communicated with them in a positive way, expressing that my support will be there and I will stay in contact with you in the future. I have handed over all assigned company assets. However, now he is harassing me, insisting that I disclose my company name so that he can send notices to them as well. Additionally, I am not including this period of experience on my employment records. How should I deal with this situation? Please help me out.
