Hello HR experts,
I worked in a retainer ship engagement for a company a while back, but they did not provide any payslips, only TDS certificates. Now, my future employer is requesting all previous employer documents, including payslips. Can I ask my old employer for payslips even though I worked as a direct contractor for them? If they are unable to provide payslips, would a bank statement suffice?
