Hi Everyone, we need a few more moderators in the community. The problem we are facing is that there are thousands of threads on the site with very non-descriptive titles but containing great information. This renders the page useless for most searching for old material on the site since the title of the thread forms the link.

Title Before: Career planning [thread 501]
Title After Editing: Career Planning - How It Is Done In The Organisation?
The old title provided no information about the thread's content. We need to fix this and do this together. We are looking to induct 20-30 moderators in the community who, as they browse the network, will keep correcting the threads.
Let me know if you are interested - please post here. If you are a known figure here, I'll give you the privileges to edit all threads. Existing moderators are also requested to do this as they browse the network.

Great initiative! Many members are just posting their queries without checking old threads, and therefore, they are not able to get any replies from the senior members. Some members simply post their queries without much detail - minimum wages for which state and for what industry. Some members used to appreciate even for raising the query by other members. I will be happy to contribute if given the chance.

We have involved 4 new moderators. Please note that you need to have some existing data and be a bit known in the community. Thank you to all pitching in.
We just added a feature that displays the latest queries on the categories included in each thread. This will both give the threads more exposure and also allow moderators to keep a lookout for threads with bad titles. Please keep changing the title as you see fit - it should describe the query or material presented.

Hi Bijay,
It's fairly simple - click on the "Edit" button on the first post on any thread, and you will be able to edit the content, including the "Title". If any particular post is misplaced or off-topic, remove it. You can select the post using the checkbox and then use the dropdown to select "Delete Post" and go through the process. It will ask for a reason - put in a short reason and click submit.
