Dear Sir/Madam,

I joined an MNC for a BPO process. However, after 12 days of training and one day working on the floor, I couldn't continue with the process, so I left the next day. Now, they are pressuring me to come back and rejoin the training. They state that if I wish to leave, I must work for the next 30 days before doing so. They have also warned that if I leave without reporting, they will send a legal notice to my home.

Could this situation pose a problem for me if they follow through with their threats? I do not wish to continue working there, so I am unable to return for more training. I need to leave.

Please advise me on this matter. I am very new to both the IT and Non-IT world.

Thank you.

1. What you did was not a correct and professional thing to do. You should have informed them before leaving. The company had to spend lots of money to hire and train you with the expectation that you will work.

2. Since you have not taken any salary, they can't do anything. They can send a notice to you, and you will have to contest that properly. You cannot stop them from sending a legal notice.
