Performance incentive is linked to KRA given at the beginning of the year, which is measurable. Can this be changed to qualitative after the KRA is achieved, and the amount changed without any discussion? Kindly clarify.

Once Key Result Areas (KRAs) are decided upon or criteria for incentives are fixed, they should be honored. Any unilateral changes should be avoided as they can negatively impact employees. Such changes from the employer's side can demotivate employees, leading to a decrease in their motivation. These demotivated employees may express their frustration during informal discussions, such as tea or lunch breaks, which, in turn, can degrade the organizational culture. An unsupportive culture within the organization hinders the company's growth.

Thank you for your response. I have worked in this organization for 3.6 years. I am highly committed to my work, and all my clients are also happy with me. My rating throughout my career in all the organizations has either been Outstanding or Exceeding Expectations.
In the last three months, there was a sudden reporting change. I was also assured my appraisal would be done by my previous boss, but it did not happen. There was no discussion during my appraisal, and not only did they reduce my incentive bonus, but they also did not rate me well. This has highly demotivated me, and they seem to be avoiding any discussion. I am not in the mindset to continue or even serve the notice period. Please advise. Can I ask them to pay three months' salary for bringing my career to a sudden halt?
Thank you for your assistance.
