Hi All, I am working for a company in the HR Department and observing that the company is not following the Minimum Wages & Payment of Minimum Wages regulations for years. They are exploiting both freshers and experienced employees by violating these rules. Despite my efforts to change this system, the management is unwilling to cooperate and is intentionally continuing this practice. They manipulate the payouts by reducing the number of attendances and paying through cheques or account transfers. Recently, they have started grouping 3-5 employees with salaries of 7 or 8k to make it above 24k, which exempts all employees from PF, ESIC, and Minimum Wage regulations.

The Challenge of Addressing Employee Rights
Here, the situation is not that simple. The aggrieved employees are mostly freshers, aged between 18-22, so they are not aware of their rights, and I can't guide them because I am working here. Generally, employees want their payouts, and that is it. Only a very few people take the initiative for it, who are highly harassed, and that is when these types of companies run successfully with these policies. They have a very low salary, which is also deducted in the name of performance. Hardly, they get 4-5k after two months. The company purposely holds their one-month salary. I feel pity for them but can't raise this point openly. That's why I wanted to know if there is any other way to correct the system.
