Hello to all,

I've given an interview at a company. The only problem is that I receive my salary in cash from my previous organization. My previous company is very small, with an employee strength of only 150 employees scattered across five other states. I work in the support department, which includes admin, HR, and accounts. In the admin department, only the three of us receive our salary in cash. Everyone else, such as the engineers, senior engineers, managers, and the director of the company, is paid directly into their bank accounts as per company policy. I am paid Rs. 28,490/- in cash. I mentioned during my first day at the interview that I am paid in cash.

I have submitted my last three months' salary slips and the last two years' salary revision letters, but still, the interviewer from the new company is not convinced. They have called me on Monday, 30.1.17, to inquire about how I receive my salary in cash.

Could any of you please guide me on the relevant explanation I should give to the interviewer so that they are convinced?

Your guidance might help me crack the interview and secure the job.

Many thanks to all,

In continuation, I would also like to mention that the remaining two employees who work in the accounts and HR departments are paid Rs. 10,000 each as salary in cash. The reason both of them are paid so little is that they are freshers, whereas I have worked for more than five years.

I request all of you to please provide me with some compelling points that can convince the interviewer regarding my salary being paid in cash. Your assistance will greatly aid me in securing a job, which is of utmost importance to me presently.

Many thanks to all,
