Hi all,
I need strong advice and help with the following matter. I have been allotted two UAN numbers, but the second UAN assigned to me is not yet activated. I wish to transfer all my EPF and EPS from the first UAN to the second UAN. Can you please suggest what I should do in this case? Kindly provide me with the exact procedure to merge them and to activate only one UAN, along with transferring the PF to that single UAN.
I am eagerly awaiting your prompt and valuable response regarding the above matter.

Activating a Second UAN and Requesting a Passbook
To activate the second UAN with a different mobile number and request a passbook, ensure that all data matches. After 4-5 days, log in to the portal with the current (second UAN) at http://oeoea.epfoservices.com/UANDEDUP/. Upon successful login, seed your old account(s) there and print the details. The department will initiate the transfer accordingly. If any mismatches arise, they will call the new registered mobile number for confirmation or queries related to the old account.

Thank you for your guidance, Mr. Sharma.
I have mistakenly activated a 2nd UAN with the same mobile number, and it has been successfully activated. I can log in with that UAN, but the issue arises on the one employee one PF portal. It shows invalid credentials when I enter the details of the 2nd UAN. Please note that I have already submitted the PF transfer form to the EPFO department.
Kindly assist me with this matter.

Wait for 4 days minimum after UAN activation and put the correct membership number of accounts to be seeded. They don't need UAN but the previous accounts before clicking. You have to click the declaration that you accept the terms of use and are liable for any wrong entry made by you.
Issue with PF Transfer and UAN Activation
I need help from you guys. I worked with TCS, which is an exempted trust. They transferred my PF to my current PF account. Unfortunately, my current PF account cannot be linked with my first UAN, so my present company issued a new UAN, and I activated the same. Both UAN numbers are linked to the same mobile number.
The problem is that as my last employer was an exempted trust, my passbook is not visible on the portal. Also, as my current account is not linked to the last one, I am unable to access my PF.
Now, I want to withdraw or transfer my PF. How can I do that? Kindly do the needful.
Thanks & regards,
Khushboo Nigam

Hi IMRAN_ILU49, did your problem get sorted out? I'm experiencing the same issue as you. On the front page of the One Employee One PF Account portal, I had to enter my registered mobile number, my UAN number (2nd UAN), and my corresponding member account number. However, when I clicked on "Generate OTP," it displayed "Invalid Credentials."
I have double-checked the details at least 50 times. I used the same information to log into the UAN portal and download the passbook successfully. It's perplexing why this specific portal is showing "Invalid Credentials."
By the way, when did you activate your 2nd UAN? I activated mine last Friday, and it's been almost a week since then.
What could be the issue? Please update me if you have managed to resolve it by now.

Dear, I have activated my 2nd UAN last week. It's activated, and I can login with that on the UAN portal. At the one employee, one PF account portal, while entering the 2nd UAN details, it still shows invalid credentials. Let's see what's going on; it seems it's a PF portal issue.

The problem still persists. I can log into my 2nd UAN, but with the same credentials, it's showing invalid credentials in one employee one EPF account portal. I sent a mail to EPFO, as usual, none responded back, and the toll-free number is always busy.
Every month, there are some changes happening, but nobody could be contacted in the event of any confusion! Unbelievable service from EPFO.

Maybe your employer has not validated your records yet digitally, so UAN is generated but not confirmed yet by the employer. This is the common situation at most places and will get regularized soon.
However, from my side, I will request all of you to upload bank details, Aadhaar, and PAN details at least on the portal so that the employer's workload would get easier to approve them.

Understanding UAN Verification and ECR Uploads
Even if the employer has not yet validated it through digital verification, they have uploaded the ECR for the last three months. This should have verified my UAN by now. The rule of thumb is that either the employer verifies by DSC or uploads the ECR, and the UAN gets verified, isn't it?
If the employer has not verified it yet, since they have uploaded the ECR for the last three months against this UAN, this UAN should already be verified, shouldn't it?
I can see my balance in the passbook, which means the employer is paying PF regularly into this UAN. So why does this digital verification problem arise?

KYC Verification and EPFO Requirements
KYC verification is now a fundamental rule of the EPFO. If Aadhaar, bank, and PAN are seeded at the time of generating a UAN, then the UAN is active for all purposes. However, if the verification is pending, the department will not accept any requests "electronically."
Members are free to submit a manual claim form 13, duly attested by the present or previous employer. Submitting contributions is a statutory obligation for the employer, but providing the correct KYC documents as per Form 11 at the time of new ID generation is the employee's responsibility.

We have approximately 70 employees, whom we transferred to another unit. Unfortunately, the PF department allotted new UAN numbers for all employees for the month of December 2016. The issue is that the previous UAN numbers and KYC are activated, but the KYC is not activated for the new UAN numbers because all members' Aadhaar cards are already linked to the previous UAN. I have visited the RPFC 3-4 times, but the matter remains unresolved. We have neither linked both UANs nor updated the new UAN.
