Sir,

Good afternoon,

I had requested my Project In-charge for a transfer from Delhi to the Bengaluru zone due to my mother's illness six months ago. He promised to wait for six months and assured me of the transfer to my preferred location. However, the Project In-charge has now been changed due to some circumstances.

Sir, please advise me on how to draft a re-request for the same.

Hello KPK,

You can write to the new in-charge. While making the request, please mention that previously you had given a requisition and you were assured of a transfer after six months. Make sure that you give the same reason that you gave previously.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to request a transfer of my service from Delhi Zone to Bangalore Zone. Due to personal circumstances involving my mother's health issues, I, being the only son responsible for her care, find it necessary to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Therefore, I kindly ask for your assistance in facilitating my transfer to Bangalore Zone. I trust that you will consider my situation sympathetically and take the necessary steps to accommodate this request.

Thank you for your understanding and prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Dear KPK,

The draft that you have submitted previously conveys what you want to say. I would not like to correct it. To make it simple, add the following paragraph and submit to the new Project Manager.

" I submitted the above request to Sri.............., the previous Project Manager and he assured that he would transfer me after six months. May I request you to do the needful at the earliest."
